Wonderful shot. The light is hitting it at a good angle to bring out the beautiful shape of it's design.

Very nice job on this photo, I think you did great with the exposure, gives movement yet still makes the propeller visible, one of the better spitfire shots I’ve seen, add a few in the background, some explosions and you’ve got yourself a war photo

what was the camera, long zoom, fast lens, shutter?
mustve been during one of the recent flay past/fly days

Hello,
The camera was a Canon EOS5D with a 100-400 IS Zoom Lens @ 220mm, the settiings were ISO400, F11 and 1/400 Sec shutter speed.
I'm really glad you like the shot, it's one of my favourites too.

mustve been during one of the recent flay past/fly days
The camera was a Canon EOS5D with a 100-400 IS Zoom Lens @ 220mm, the settiings were ISO400, F11 and 1/400 Sec shutter speed.
I'm really glad you like the shot, it's one of my favourites too.
